To Jim-West Wind's catering:

Our sincere Thanks for helping me plan my family reunion. You were right there to help me make decisions on the type of food and the amount that I would need for such a large group.

No one believed that we had the event catered, because the food was as homemade tasting as if we slaved in our own kitchens. The eggplant and meatballs and pasta were amazing! We received so many compliments on how the food tasted like our mom's.

Everyone was so professional from the sitting with you to determine the amount and types of food to have, right down to the delivery and setup. Thanks again and you could be sure, that you will be hearing from me and my family for many more catering events.

Sincerely,
- Pat Borrelli

To the Staff of WestWinds Cafe & Catering:

I just wanted to say thanks for making our son's graduation party such a success. My mom always said that if you are having a party, the food better be great! And great it was. From the Chicken French, to the roasted potatoes, to the pasta and meatballs I could go on and on , everything was delicious.

Thanks again for helping make this another successful party.

To the Staff of West Winds cafe:

I was visiting family in Rochester, and we had been at the cemetery, when my sister suggested we stop for breakfast. She said she'd heard about a restaurant across the street named West Winds. So we decided to try it out. When we walked in the place was pretty full, but the waitress asked how many and although we had to wait about 5 min. they offered us coffee while we waited and where very apologetic that they couldn't seat us right away. But within 5min or so we had a table.

We could tell that we were in a family owned restaurant, because people where hugging each other, kissing each other, everyone helping out, very obvious everyone knew everyone in some way. At one point, a lady who was sitting with her family having breakfast, got up and started serving coffee, not only to her own table but she went around the restaurant to be sure everyone had coffee. In talking with her we found out that she was the owner's sister in law and that her daughter was waitressing along with her niece. She said it's not unusual for family to get up and lend a hand. She also suggested that we try the "Nest", so on her suggestion we did and I will tell you we were NOT one bit sorry. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had.

I was a bit sad in leaving because we knew that there was not another family owned restaurant like this one... Good Food, Good Coffee and we walked out feeling like family.

Thanks for the experience. On our next visit to Rochester, we will be sure to stop in again... next time I think I'll try the "Italian Boy" breakfast.

Sincerely,
- Joe from Florida
